Mark your calendars for an action-packed day of football as the Past Prefects’ Association of Zahira College, Colombo proudly presents the Nolimit 18th Zahira Super 16 Soccer 7’s Tournament! This much-anticipated event is scheduled to take place on Sunday, December 8, 2024, at the iconic Race Course International Stadium.
A Landmark 18th Edition
This year marks the 18th edition of the tournament, a platform renowned for highlighting Sri Lanka’s budding football talent. Sixteen of the nation’s top football-playing schools will compete in an exciting 7-a-side format, known for its fast-paced and dynamic gameplay.
Going Global!
For the first time in its history, the tournament will feature an international participant—the Stafford Sri Lankan School, Doha—adding a global flavor to this prestigious event.
Sponsorship and Collaboration
At the official press conference held on Friday, November 22, the tournament received its official sponsorship from Nolimit, with Retail Marketing Manager Shafraz Niyas presenting the sponsorship to Zahira College Principal Trizviiy Marikkar. The event was graced by Project Chairman A.H.M. Irshad and other distinguished guests.
