His Excellency Salman bin Ibrahim Al Khalifa, the President of the Asian Football Confederation, will visit Sri Lanka to meet with Mr. Jaswar Umar, the President of the Football Sri Lanka (FSL), and his colleagues from the 18th to the 20th of April 2024. The intention of the AFC president’s visit is to provide additional support to Sri Lanka Football.

Football experts says , the AFC is highly impressed with recent progress of Sri Lanka Football with a solid vision of President Jaswar Umar and this visit will open new avenues for Sri Lanka from AFC .
